Mexico City, December 10, 2024 – US Media, a leader in media solutions in Latin America, and Magnite (NASDAQ: MGNI), the largest independent sell-side advertising company, announced a strategic alliance in which US Media will sell Magnite’s Streaming ad inventory to advertisers in Mexico via insertion orders (IO), leveraging Magnite’s publisher relationships.
The collaboration strengthens Magnite’s position in the Mexican market, one of the most important digital markets in Latin America, representing 28.7% of the region’s GDP according to EMARKETER. According to the IAB Mexico 2023 Total Media Value Study, clear growth trends in advertising investment are observed in Mexico. In 2023 alone, advertising investment in Mexico increased by 9%, almost $7 billion, highlighting the importance of having platforms that optimize advertisers’ resources.
Magnite offers connected TV (CTV), video, and display, among other advertising formats, through its SSPs, which provide Mexican advertisers with a holistic view of advertising inventories. Magnite sources high-quality demand from advertisers to complement premium publisher content. Through this alliance, US Media will support Magnite in Mexico, broadening the existing ways for media agencies and brands to access Magnite’s supply through IO-based demand.
