US Media Consulting Hires Top Executives to Lead Its Sales and Finance Operations

This release announces the hiring of Leandro Cruz de Paula and Francisco Pol, top executives who are assuming key roles at the executive level for US Media Consulting.

MIAMI (October 28, 2013) — US Media Consulting, a leader in media services and technology for companies targeting Brazil and Latin America, is pleased to announce the hiring of Leandro Cruz de Paula as Chief Revenue Officer and Francisco Pol as Chief Financial Officer. Cruz de Paula will oversee online and offline sales operations throughout the region, as well as marketing, product management and media partnerships. For his part, Pol will oversee all of the firm’s financial operations.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Leandro and Francisco to our team,” says Bruno Almeida, Chief Executive Officer of US Media Consulting. “Their deep well of experience will help us grow even further as a company.” The addition of Cruz de Paula and Pol marks a shift in US Media Consulting’s structure, with Bruno Almeida assuming the position of CEO to focus on overall company development and Chief Operations Officer Ignacio Roizman taking on new responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer.

Cruz de Paula’s sales and marketing experience extends more than 20 years and began in his native Brazil, where he directed sales operations at key firms like Starmedia and Rádio Transamérica. He later became Country Manager for G2 do Brasil (a Grey/WPP company), then Brazil Country Sales Manager and eventually Regional Sales Director-Latam for Microsoft Advertising. Most recently, Cruz de Paula was the Divisional Vice President of Sales, Latam, for Thismoment, Inc.

Pol also has more than 20 years of experience, beginning with management positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and later a tenure as an internal auditor for IPG. Pol has been a CFO for a number firms, including Lowe and Partners, McCann Worldgroup, Universal McCann and Media Brands. This media agency experience will be especially relevant as US Media Consulting consolidates its position as Latin America’s leading media services provider.
