Accessing the Internet via Cell phones Is Up in Brazil

Recent data that points to continual strong growth in Brazil's mobile market

According to a study from the Instiuto Verificador de Circulação (IVC), mobile page views in Brazil in July 2012 rose by 8% compared to June. As a category, mobile reached 51 million page views. These results are based on the IVC’s monitoring of 65 sites.
This trend is further supported by recent data from Nielsen that shows that 55% of the cellphones bought in Brazil during the first quarter of 2011 allowed for Internet access.
